I just got confirmation that HallofShame.com may have PREVENTED its' first Reverse Domain Name Hijacking Case!

After just hours on the "Watch List" we have a new development.

And the sole panelist scolded the "Expert attorney" for allowing this action to be brought to begin with.

Over the weekend a number of updates were made to HallofShame.com. One being that almost all caps have been removed from the text. I am in detox over it. Deep breath! We also updated the Watch-List Page to a table. And that bring me to the next subject. We have a new addition.

We have had the domain name Bergzeit.com on our Hall of Shame watch list and today marked 3 for 3 as 3 on the watch list has now been found guilty of Reverse Domain Name Hijacking. Bergzeit GmbH represented by Riegger Rechtsanwälte, Ludwigsburg, Deutschland is now a Reverse Domain Name Hijacker!

I am also told that another domain on the Hall of Shame watch list case, Share.tv, complaint has been withdrawn. Maybe folks are starting to get the message?

Bergzeit GmbH of Wooden Churches , Germany , represented by lawyers Riegger , Ludwigsburg, Germany has been found guilty of Reverse Domain Name Hijacking (RDNH) on the domain name Bergzeit.com by a one member WIPO panel.

Our first scammer, and spammer is going to be WebNameSolution.com when we open up this week. They seem to get credit card numbers and then not fulfill the orders. That would take you to the next logical question. What are they doing with those credit card numbers? They have been at it for years and I think the way to stop these folks is to have their merchant accounts closed. The FBI needs to be investigating and closing these type operations down. But until then, circulation is king!

A couple of weeks ago I told you about Rick Schwartz's new HallOfShame.com website that is shining a light on would be domain thieves who have been found guilty of reverse domain hijacking attempts.

The rogue's gallery at the site is growing on an almost daily basis with Jet Go Australia Holdings the latest to join the line up. They earned their black eye with a failed attempt to steal the domain JetGo.com from industry legend Frank Schilling.
